Social Enterprise Day on Thursday 17th November 2016 - Get involved!

October 26, 2016

Social Enterprise Day is an opportunity for the 70,000 social enterprises across the UK to shout about the good work they're doing and the difference they're making. Using social media is an easy and quick way to do this.

Social Enterprise UK is inviting social enterprises to tell their stories with the #WhoKnew hashtag and to post pictures on their social media feeds (including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) to showcase their organisations.

They are also asking people who love and buy from social enterprises to post pictures of their favourite social enterprise products or services on their social media feeds.

Getting involved using a national hashtag can also really help you gain visibility for your social enterprise!

How to get involved?

  • Print out a #WhoKnew sign (click here to download a #WhoKnew sign)
  • Write a short messages on your sign. For example "#WhoKnew My GP surgery provides healthcare to refugees" "#WhoKnew My coffee is providing training for the homeless"
  • Share on social media using the hashtags #WhoKnew and #SocialEnterpriseDay on Thursday 17th November
