Four female entrepreneurs have been awarded a total of £90,000 in the latest round of funding from the Social Entrepreneurs Fund. The awards were delivered by Firstport, Scotland’s start up social enterprise development agency, to help the awardees take their businesses to the next level.

Katy Kitchingham created Everything Baby to provide a one stop shop for pre-loved baby goods, parenting support and information.
Nicky McPherson started “The Cardboard Box Play Cafe”, providing a family-friendly meeting place for parents.
Locavore is a Glasgow based social enterprise dedicated to local food and creation of sustainable local food economies.
